Meetings, courses & conferences

Sølvgarden's meeting rooms are newly renovated and well equipped. Here everything is ready for the perfect event with magnificent nature right outside the hotel door. See our selection of premises and offers below.

Poet's train

Rysstad is a village full of artists, both in large and small format, and these are our heaths to them. Diktarstoga gives room for approx. 40 people, and is often used together with VIP towers and group rooms. Many people also think this is a good place to keep company. The room has its own lounge and balcony.

The tilt tower

The VIP tower has plenty of space for 12 people, and small courses, hall meetings and small parties have an exclusive setting. Good seating comfort with own lounge and balcony.

Knights' Hall

In Riddersalen you can get a whole department for yourself. Meeting room with stage, and adjacent to a large lounge with its own bar, and with varied seating groups: dining tables, lounges and small tables. The Knights' Hall is located downstairs, screened by other guests, with room for 70 people.

Lounges - Group rooms - Outdoor space

To get the job done, a good break is important. We have arranged with seating groups, lounges both outside and inside. We have several group rooms available.

Teambuilding

Do they want a bigger break with social activity and team building? We offer many different activities such as:

71° north trail
Sølvgarden hosted five days for 71 ° north - Norway's toughest celebrity in 2014. One competition was held with us and we got to keep the whole trail when they traveled. Now you can try the same course that the participants compete in - Obstacle course 71 ° north.

"Gama in the country"
Various competitions such as horseshoe throwing, dress throwing, sawing, ax throwing, boot throwing, canoeing and nailing.

A taste of Setesdal
Folk music, walking lessons, intimate concert outside or inside and food experiences.

Visit Lunden Gard
Fiddler and storyteller Gunnar Stubseid owns Lunden farm on Helle. Gunnar is a renowned fiddler who has released several CDs, has a fiddler award and is our rector at Ole Bull Academy. Lunden farm is one of the farms in Setesdal that has the most complete collection of buildings as it was in the old days. Lunden gard received Aust-Agder county municipality's Building Protection Award in 2014. Here our guests can get a "Taste of Setesdal" - through cultural walks, "between houses", food and folk music. You can get to Lunden farm by car, bicycle, boat, canoe or horse and cart.
